If you’re looking for a dinner salad that’s healthy and filling, this recipe for low carb bacon salad with avocado and goat cheese is a must make! It’s the perfect recipe to help you #MakeYourMove to healthier lifestyle with Kohl’s.
Packed with protein from the bacon and healthy, unsaturated fats from the avocado, it’ll fill you the great taste you deserve and the low carbs that you want.
In the world of kitchen gadgets, there are literally hundreds (perhaps even thousands) of options. There are uni-taskers, which are the tools that serve one purpose only, and the multi-taskers, which can be used for various purposes.
Picture a grapefruit spoon for a moment. It’s smooth on one side, serrated edge on the other, and a point at the top of the spoon. It’s perfect for removing a section of grapefruit, but not so great for eating a bowl of soup.
Typically I’ll avoid uni-taskers, purely for lack of storage space. That being said, there are almost always special circumstances that cause me to color outside of the lines, so to speak. Let me tell you about my current favorite uni-tasker: the avocado slicer.
This awesome kitchen gadget will pierce through and cut an avocado, safely remove the pit, and then cut the flesh into perfect, even slices. It’s a wonder tool, and now that I’ve used one, I’ll never eat avocados without it.
I hope you enjoy this low carb bacon salad!
