Me and just about everyone I know is in love with Panera Bread and their tons of delicious options! Many of their dishes may not be low carb but you can surely find some that can fit into any diet. So, I’ll be sharing some of Panera Bread’s latest and greatest changes and a few of my favorite salads.
You may or may not have heard, Panera Bread has begun making some major changes, planning to ditch preservatives, colors, sweeteners and flavors by the end of 2016. Pretty exciting, right? I’m ecstatic for the change!
It’s really great to hear that leaders in the food space are listening to their customers, and making changes that promote wellness while remaining delicious. You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to find dishes like the salads at Panera Bread that help you eat well, while also enjoying every bite. It’s a real score for tasty on-the-go wellness.
Now on to the good.. or should I say yummy, stuff:
- Power Kale Caesar Salad with Chicken – chicken, kale, romaine, parmesan, Caesar dressing, and Parmesan crisps. This one is my favorite!
- Classic Salad – mixed field greens, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions. I swapped the reduced-fat balsamic for their tasty Greek dressing.
- Chicken Caesar Salad – chicken, romaine lettuce, asiago-parmesan cheese, asiago croutons and Caesar dressing.

You totally missed my favorite one! Though that’s probably because it’s not totally low carb. It’s the Fuji apple chicken salad. It’s got apple chips and glazed pecans, but when I’m at panera, it’s an absolute treat!
