Sesame Crusted Tofu

  • 1 (12 oz) package Mori-Nu firm or extra firm tofu
  • 3 tablespoons white sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds
  • 4 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  1. Slice tofu into ½"-1" cubes.
  2. Stir sesame seeds together and spread onto plate. One at a time, press cubes of tofu into sesame seeds.
  3. Heat about 2 tablespoon sesame oil in a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Place about half of tofu cubes on pan and cook until golden, 3-5 minutes per side. Add about 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove tofu from pan and repeat process with remaining tofu.
  5. Mix all sauce ingredients and serve with cauliflower rice or other veggies.
