Today’s recipe and Dasani bottle printable is on behalf of #CollectiveBias and the #SpookySnacks campaign , but all views expressed here are mine.
I’m a haunted house junky. One of my ultimate guilty pleasures is going with a group of friends to the local haunted houses and leaving without a voice. For me, it’s pure entertainment. So, it’s no surprise that Halloween is my favorite time of year.
And no, not only because I like getting the poo scared out of me. It’s the weather, decorations, horror movies, costumes, pumpkin carving and parties. What better way to entertain those guests then with a Ghostly Cocktail (or mocktail).
This tasty beverage will remind you of a sugar cookie in liquid form, not that you would ever expect it. It’s very versatile; liquor can easily be removed for a kid-friendly treat.
- ¼ cup Dasani water
- ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1½ teaspoons lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 oz vodka (optional)
- Mix together all ingredients and serve in chilled glass.
I created this sweet little bottle wrappers to dress up the bottle and cover the Dasani label. You can down the free printable PDF for the halloween bottle wrapper here. There are 4 wrappers per page, so you’ll need to cut them out with scissors or a paper trimmer.
Once each wrapper is cut out, line them up evenly around the bottle and attach them with tape or glue. For fun colors that play off the wrappers just add a few drops of food coloring or drink enhancers. They’re sure to be a hit at your upcoming Halloween party.
If you want to, you can scatter mini pumpkins, sculls, spiders, or whatever else to add a little extra halloween flare. I threw in some Fanta Zero for a fun drink that perfectly match’s the color scheme. And I was able to pick up my decorations, Fanta Zero, and Dasani bottles all at my local Walmart. I found the 12 oz bottles to be especially easy on the go.
